Hi {{first_name}},
“I help businesses grow” could mean almost anything.
A clear offer tells a specific person what you will deliver. It gives them something concrete to consider.
AI can help you explore the wording. You still have to choose a promise you can actually keep.
Try this plain-language exercise:
Write: I help ___ solve ___ by delivering ___. Use a real deliverable, not a guaranteed income claim.
Ask AI for three shorter versions using only those facts. Reject added promises, invented testimonials, and fake urgency.
Show your best version to someone unfamiliar with the work. Ask what they think they would receive.
Their explanation is more useful than “sounds great.”
If they misunderstood, simplify the sentence and try again.
Today’s sponsor:
Yes, that Arnold Schwarzenegger.
He has a newsletter on beehiiv. So do Codie Sanchez, Jay Shetty, David Begnaud, Colin & Samir, and Joanna Stern.
They could publish just about anywhere. They chose beehiiv to build a direct connection with the people who want to hear from them most. And you can do the same, whether you’re world-famous or just at the start of your plan for world domination.
Your challenge: describe one offer without a buzzword.
A clear sentence does not prove demand. It makes the next real conversation easier to have.
